Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Tupandas ("Narravo", "we", "us", or "our") and govern your access to and use of the Narravo mobile application and related services (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Please read Section 16 carefully — it limits our liability — and Section 18 explains how disputes are resolved.

2. The Service

Narravo is a text-to-speech application that lets you convert written content — text you type, documents, PDFs, and links you provide — into natural-sounding speech audio in multiple languages and voice styles. You can preview voices, save projects, and export the generated audio. Features may evolve over time. We may add, change, or remove features at our discretion.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Narravo. By using the Service you represent that you meet that requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
  • You must give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You may not share your account, sell access to it, or impersonate someone else.
  • You must notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Narravo offers free features and paid subscription plans ("Subscriptions"). Pricing, billing periods, and features included in each plan are shown in the app at the point of purchase.

  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
  • Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, Google Play account, or other payment method you authorize. We do not receive your full card number.
  • Managing your subscription. You can manage and cancel Subscriptions in your device's account settings:
    • iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions
    • Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
  • Price changes. If we change a Subscription price, we will notify you in advance and give you the chance to cancel before the new price takes effect, in line with the platform's rules.
  • Usage limits. Subscriptions may include monthly character or audio-minute allowances and other fair-use rules. We will show the current allowance in the app.
  • Taxes. Subscription prices may include or exclude taxes depending on your jurisdiction and the platform's policies.

6. Free trials & promotions

We may offer free trials or promotional pricing. Unless cancelled before the end of the trial, the Subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the standard price. Free trials may not be available to users who have previously redeemed a trial.

7. Refunds

Refund requests for purchases made through Apple or Google are handled by the respective platform under their refund policies. We do not directly process refunds for store-billed Subscriptions. Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies (for example, the EU 14-day withdrawal right or rights under the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502), you keep that right; by starting to use a Subscription you may consent to begin performance, which can affect your right of withdrawal.

8. Your content & generated audio

"Input Content" means everything you upload, type, paste, or import into the Service — text, documents, PDFs, links, and similar material. "Generated Audio" means the speech audio that the Service produces from your Input Content.

  • Ownership of Input Content stays with you. You keep all rights to your Input Content. We do not claim ownership of it.
  • License you grant us. You grant Narravo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit, process, and display your Input Content solely so we can operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service for you (for example, to synthesize speech, sync, and back up your content). This license ends when you delete the Input Content, except for backups retained for a reasonable period.
  • Your responsibility. You are responsible for your Input Content and for making sure you have all rights and consents necessary to submit and process it (including rights to any third-party text you upload).
  • Generated Audio — personal use. You may use Generated Audio for your personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use of Generated Audio (for example, broadcasting, monetized podcasts or videos, advertising) requires an appropriate plan and, where the underlying voice is licensed by our speech provider, compliance with the provider's usage terms.
  • Voice synthesis restrictions. You may not use the Service to impersonate any real person, clone someone's voice without their explicit consent, or generate audio that is misleading, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, or that could reasonably be confused with the speech of a real identifiable individual.
  • No training of public AI models. We do not use your Input Content or Generated Audio to train public AI foundation models.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right (including privacy, voice-likeness, intellectual-property, and export laws).
  • Upload or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that incites violence.
  • Generate audio designed to impersonate a real person, mislead listeners about who is speaking, or commit fraud (including voice-based scams or "deepfake" voices).
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works of the Service, or extract the underlying voice models, except where expressly permitted by law.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or interfere with or disrupt its operation.
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service except via official APIs (if any) and within their published limits.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or any part of it without our prior written consent or an applicable subscription plan that permits it.
  • Use the Service to send spam, phishing, malware, or any malicious code.

10. Text-to-speech features & output

Narravo relies on third-party neural text-to-speech technology (currently Microsoft Azure AI Speech) to synthesize audio from your Input Content. Speech output is generated automatically and may occasionally mispronounce words, misread numbers, mishandle abbreviations, or otherwise produce results that are not exactly what you intended.

  • You are responsible for reviewing Generated Audio before relying on it, and especially before publishing or distributing it.
  • Narravo is a productivity tool — it is not a substitute for a professional voice actor, translator, or advisor, and Generated Audio should not be relied on for legal, medical, financial, or other consequential decisions without independent review.
  • We may apply usage limits, fair-use rules, or rate limits to text-to-speech features to keep the Service reliable and to comply with our upstream provider's terms.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on, and may interoperate with, third-party services (for example, Supabase for authentication, database and object storage; Microsoft Azure AI Speech for voice synthesis; Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat for subscriptions; Microsoft Clarity for analytics). Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party services and they may change or become unavailable.

12. Intellectual property

The Service and all software, design, logos, trademarks, voice catalog metadata, and other materials in it (other than Input Content and Generated Audio) are owned by Tupandas or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

If you believe that content available through the Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice with (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) the location of the allegedly infringing content, (c) your contact information, (d) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and (e) a statement that the information you provide is accurate, to [email protected].

13. Feedback

If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use them for any purpose, without obligation or compensation to you.

14. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account from inside the app or by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your account is inactive for an extended period, or if we are required to do so by law.
  • Upon termination, the rights granted to you in these Terms end and we may delete your Input Content and Generated Audio as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law).

15. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT GENERATED AUDIO WILL BE ACCURATE, NATURAL, OR FIT FOR YOUR INTENDED USE.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE CONSUMER LAW (INCLUDING THE TURKISH CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW NO. 6502).

16. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NARRAVO AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR FRAUD, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, OR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE).

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tupandas and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, (b) your Input Content or Generated Audio (including voice-likeness, defamation, or impersonation claims), or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.

18. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Çağlayan), Türkiye will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except that you may bring claims in your local courts where mandatory consumer law allows. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protections of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

For disputes below the statutory threshold under Turkish law, the parties may elect binding arbitration under the rules of the Istanbul Arbitration Centre (ISTAC) by written notice.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app, by email, or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the change becomes effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service and delete your account.
